Ser capaz es un poco diferente al poder hacer algo. La razón es porque cuando algo presenta cierto grado de dificultad, más esfuerzo, sea físico o mental, es mejor usar: “To be Able To”

El can es usado más generalmente. 

Cómo se conjuga el Be Able to

I am able to –  Soy capaz

You are able to –  Eres capaz

We are able to –  Somos capaces

They are able to –  Son capaces

She is able to –  es capaz

He is able to –  es capaz

It is able to – es capaz
